CAROTID ANEURYSM WITH PRESSURE SYMPTOMS: NEED TO DEVELOP CAPACITY

Abstract

Background: This is the first published report of carotid aneurysm from our centre.

Case presentation: A 63-year-old woman with a right pulsatile neck mass presented with pressure symptoms. We discuss modalities and demands in the management.

Conclusion: Carotid aneurysms are not uncommon and measure to prevent catastrophic complications should be instituted.
